Please post images of the interior. External images do not unfortunately suffice and make me worry that there is some reason you haven't posted internal images.

No it cannot accomodate a battery larger than normal size. Below are some brand new pics though - WE JUST GOT OUR X3 so many of these show you how it fits in .
