Forgot to ask, why AM radio? Is it Talk Radio you want to listen to or is there a certain station your looking for? You can also use a player like GSPlayer that supports streaming music/talk from Shoutcast

Yeah, as bigds64 stated, no AM stations for PDAs. The reason being that AM stations are on such a high frequency, that they require a much longer antenna. There's only so much room inside an SD or CF card that you can coil a wire. FM only requires 2 - 3 feet of wire for a suitable antenna, unlike AM which requires a good 6 - 8 feet just for decent reception. So if you try to stuff both in there, there's just simply not enough room.

Also, AM frequencies are notoriously prone to interference from other electronic devices like computers, microwaves, etc. So even if you did stuff enough wire in an SD card somehow, there would likely be too much interference from the CPU to even pick up the local stations.

Well all you need is a way to connect to the internet and the free player I mentioned in my last post, then just type in shoutcast in P.I.E. (Internet Explorer) and I just looked at shoutcast , right now there is 150 talk stations playing...allot of which are sports talk.
