BT Keyboard
I have a logitech Dinovo keyboard set which runs off of BT. The keyboard and media pad and mouse all connect to the BT hub which makes my comp BT compatible for like 9 more BT devices and stuff.

What I am wondering, which is probably virtually impossible, is if I can connect my BT keyboard to my Axim x30 instead of buying one?

Thanks a lot guys!
[maybe SOMEONE will answer this time???]

ahhh come on, what about your 'Free BT Keyboard' subject line.

Just thought I would get your hopes up too

The answer is still no, no drivers, no joy

I agree with 24va... Your title was pretty miss leading
:-( and made me very sad! hehe

I am thinking though that maybe when more BT keyboards
come out, you could try a driver from one of them, (provided
they are available on their websites for anyone..)

I DOUBT this will work, but it cant hurt to try right..?

Does your keyboard show up on the axim now? .. when
you try to discover devices?

Does it use a serial profile to connect to your desktop?

Miss leading. Lol. That's funny!
and I changed it, and other stuff.
la de da! so I'm a fool! ;-x

And no, it can't hurt to try.

I don't know if my keyboard shows up on my axim right now because my replacement is arriving tomorrow! (i just didn't whine about it to whole world when it was a bad unit).

My hub uses USB. If that's what you were inquiring about (the hub)

P.s. I was born in Lansing, but now live in S. Cali!

I dont mean physically, i dont know if 'serial profile'
is the correct term, ..

how about an example? .. hehe

I have a bluetooth GPS unit, and it connects
to my axim via a BT Serial connection.. (the
bluetooth emulates a serial port..)

so the programs on my pda (routis, mapopolis
get the information from com port 7.)

Cool, let me know when you get your replacement if you
can 'connect' to your keyboard or not..

Im betting you can connect....

problem is once your connected, your axim wont
know what to do with the data it receives, so we
need a driver to take the data from the serial
port ...

maybe a driver will work from another bt keyboard.

Ok anyway idea #2.... I dont have a dell keyboard,
and not sure of drivers for it, but if its configureable,
then maybe you can set it to the com port of your BT
serial port. once your keyboard is connected...

(These probably wont work... but they are things
that can be tried...)

hmmm.. Dell just released something interesting today,
http://support.dell.com/filelib/form...leaseid=r78672

I wonder if you download this, will it be able
to connect to your BT keyboard? ..

Let me know if it works!
