My girlfriend just received her X30. I tried using one of my X5 WriteSHIELD's but it is just a little too big. I went to the Dell website to see if they had screen protectors for the X30 but they just lump all the screen protectors together. Has anybody else had this problem?

Don't feel that you have to order screen protectors from Dell. I don't have an X30 but I know the ones Dell sells for the X5 are pretty crappy. You might want to check out Brando, Writeshield or Boxwave. I know there are other brands but those are the only ones coming to mind at the moment.
