well i decided on getting an extended battery, and with all the problems with choosing a case for the x30 with the extended battery (excluding the piel frama & bellagio) i computed more or less the exact size of the axim X30 with the extended battery. in that way i can look for pda pouch cases and compare the dimensions side by side.

Depth: 13.2mm (0.52")
Dimensions (WxDxH): 2.34" x 0.52" x 2.36"

Depth: 7.1mm (0.28")
Dimensions (WxDxH): 2.41" x 0.28" x 2.18"
i havent held an extended battery in my hand, so i was thinking that the overall depth of the extended battery is: 0.52" while the standard battery is 0.28"
being that the standard battery is flush, then the extra thickness of the extended battery would be: 0.52" - 0.28" = 0.24"
0.24" = 6.1mm
therefore the total thickness of the X30 with an extended battery would be:
14.9mm + 6.1mm = 21mm (0.83")
please correct me if im wrong, im just comming up with a theroy here so people can get an idea if the X30 with an extended battery will fit with a pda pouch not exactly meant for the X30
Unit Conversion:
1" = 25.4 mm = 2.54 cm
these actual units are based from the dell site, i just converted a few units.
