Case to Protect Antenna
I want a case to protect my Dell Axim X30's antenna. I don't think I will find one that does this. Any suggestions out there? I like the Piel Frama and I like the Rhino Skin, but neither will really work for this purpose. Fudgecicles.

Why would you want a case to protect the antenna anyway??? The antenna is ALREADY protected by a piece of plastic surrounding the actual metal of the antenna ...

If you are only interested in a case for transportion purposes, not whilst using it, there certainly ought to be several cases out there that would do the job. Heck, even the factory case accompanying the X5 would do the job and protect the X30 in ints entirety including the antenna.

And if you are looking for a case to protect the antenna whilst using it, you should keep in mind that a metal case around the antenna would likely hinder its Wi-Fi range and signal strength, which is probably not what you want either ...

The X30 in the Rhinoskin alu case also fits very nicely into the X5 factory case WITH the case. It fits in very tightly there and should offer some very good protection for both the case and the antenna. I have attached a picture just to show what I mean

Could the x5 case hold the x30 with the extended battery possibly? i know the x5 is larger than the x30, how much larger is it?
thanks

This case is for the Axim X3, and
covers the anntena, also will fit
the extended battery.

I had someone ask me about that the other day. I am working on a cover right now that will do jus that. I need to post a lot of pics and hope to get to it by tomorrow. I'll try to get one of the cover I am talking about and post it for you. In the meantime check my website to see what the cover I am talking about is.

Yes, the X5 factory case covers the X30 including antenna and extended battery quite well.
