Can anyone here please confirm if the Mugen 1100 battery does / does not fit in the DSI Aluminum hard case? Thanks!

AFAIK, the 1100 mugen battery is no larger than the standard battery, so it will fit fine.

actually the Mugan battery has a slight hump on the back when compared to the Dell oem.

Yes, the Mugen 1100 is about 1.5 mm taller (Disclaimer, I don't have calipers, just eye-balled it. It fits into a Rhinocase, albeit a bit snugly. It's certainly not going to slide out accidentally! You can feel the difference both on the back of the X30 with the Mugen in, and you can feel the difference in friction when inserting the X30 into the Rhinocase. Overall it's not significant, and if the DSI case is about the same as a Rhino, it should fit.
