Man that's a better reply than I got when I did the same thing on 7/16. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it!

That looks interesting. Hopefully, Wing will keep us updated on the status of that case.

anyone thought about asking for a ActiveCase that can support an extended battery? What I mean is, include a plastic pocket (kind of like a bubble) in the back of the ActiveCase that can fit the largest extended battery on the market (dell 1800 or mugen 2000?). It would then be able to protect any other size battery too.

I just know there aren't many cases that support the extended battery out on the market. Therefore, I think it would be a huge seller.

I currently have a rhinoskin, which works perfectly except I can't buy a 1800 or 2000 mah battery because then my axim wouldn't fit in the case. With an X30 ActiveCase w/ extended battery fit I would be able to buy that 1800 - 2000 mAh battery that I need!

[Edit]
Oh I just read the jpaul_martinez post. So I'm not the only one!

U r not alone. I'll kill to get a casing that can support the extended batteries. Comeon, we want good batt life and we wan good casing protection. Give it to us!!!!! But if the wait is too long, i'm going to cut the back of the rhinoskin case to make the extended batt fit....

I think the main problem with making a case which will accommodate extended batteries, is that companies would have to make 2 versions of the case, 1 for an X30 with the regular battery and 1 which would accommodate the largest battery available (with some compressable padding to fill the space inbetween the battery & the case should there be a gap.)

It is possible that those with the extended batteries would be in the minority & whilst everyone will have the standard battery, it makes more financial sense to build a case in one form for what is at the moment a minority platform.

With the features the X30 mid & high sport alongside a price which I think will never be beaten, it deserves to be in the mainstream, but not having a 'physical' presence in the marketplace will always hold it back

you may want to check out www.dogwithabone.net . kevin (aka bulldog around aximsite) custom builds a cover that is clear to protect the front of your axim. they work very well for what they are supposed to do. do a search for bullguard in the forums and you'll find the info you're looking for. in an ideal world, i'd have a clear flip case, but this works very well.

Thanks lobo pac!!!!
I was just about to say they should check out my site, I don't have time to get new pics up there so maybe I should post some on the thread that started it all. If you are interested check my site or this thread:
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...t=25303&page=1

It's not the active case but you can put this thing in a pocket and not know its there!!

Here's the reply from Boxwave today. Sounds familiar. Yah.
Thank you for your product request!

We are currently developing our ActiveCase for new models, so we
appreciate
your suggestion since we develop our products based on the number of
requests we receive for a particular model.

We will let you know when an ActiveCase does become available for your
unit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Best Regards,

you might not want to have a soft part of the case for the ext batt but you could have a removable back to where there is a hole the size of the ext batt and a plastic cup that slides into that hole to protect the battery as well. If you don't have an ext batt then just cover the hole with a flat back plate adapter. But we can only dream...
