I will be a proud Axim owner soon.

To protect my investment (the barebone X30 High costs around $400 in Switzerland), i'm about to decide whether i should use a screen protector or not.

I've already ordered a RhinoSkin case to get some extended protection, because i don't trust that basic leather thingy that comes with the Axim by default.

My question is:

Is it really recommended to use screen protectors if you handle your Axim with care, and if you use the onscreen keyboard instead of transcribe or something similar ?

I had two PPC's in the past (Casio Cassiopeia), and i tried screen protectors on one of them, and i did not like it.
It affected the "feel" of the touchscreen as well as the readability of the screen.

I really appreciate your opinions !

There are a lot of opinions on both sides of this issue. A quick search got me this list which even includes 3 polls.

Personally I do use one, but it seems a matter of personal taste for the most part.
