Returning My Rhino

Hi.

When I ordered my X30 I also ordered a rhino case with it thinking that it would be great and the case that came with the X30 was junk.

Well since I got my X30 a couple of days before I got the Rhino case I used the free one. I began to enjoy it very much.

I decided that it is not worth the money and the free case was not too bad. And best of all FREE.

Any thoughts?

peace out dog,

I also like my Rhinoskin as long as I do not need to use its belt clip. If I need the extended battery or when I do need to carry the Axim on the belt, I also use the factory case since it is very well suited for this purpose. Another advantage of the Rhino skin over the factory case is that you can use the Axim while it is in the Rhino case, but with the factory case you need to take out the Axim first prior to using it.

By the way, I would not go as far as calling the X30 factory case "FREE". After all, it is being paid for with the money you shelled out for the X30, whether you use it or not. The case is not any more "FREE" than this pickle that comes with the hamburgers when you buy one at McDonald's ;-)

Where did you geta rhinoskin with 4 front facing
SD holders?

The only one I see on their website is the one that
holds two cards, and the cards have to be inserted backwords..

Ok, Maybe free was not the best term. Either way it was not 30 dollars EXTRA :)

The Rhino case doesn't feel that comfortable when it is open in my hand. The right side doesn't sit well in my hand. I also had trouble removing the stylus. I'm just gonna get more memory ;)

Welcome to Aximsite!

I also have the rhino case and for what I use it for, I love it. My axim can be stowed in my backpack without fear of scratching anything or the pda falling out. Just my .02, but I love it.

Did Dell redesign the x30 slipcase? The one shipped 2 months ago has a suede like inside that shifts and elastic that put on a death squeeze on the x30. My 5 month old x3i has a polyester inside that doesn't shift. The elastic is not as strong but still gripped with no problems.

I opened a trouble case (pun) with Dell on "How not to redesign perfection."

I have a Aluminum case for $9.99 (+5.99 S&H) on order. It looks very much like the Rhino Case. I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.
