Axim w/ standard battery fit in PF case for Hi-batt?

Hi all,

I just got my X30 High today. I've been reading all these reviews about the various cases, and I think the Piel Frama case is really nice cuz I want a leather and a belt case.

One question though is if I buy the PF case for extended battery, will it hold properly the X30 when used with either the original battery or the Mugen 2000mAH battery?

I have one of these cases and the extended 2000 batt. The fit is really loose in the case with the standard battery but fits tight with the 2000 bat.

See if ur case that came with it works with the extended....from the pics it looks like it will because it has elestic on the edges.

The case that comes with it can hold that because of the elastic. But it's not a flip case and I must take it out to use it, which isn't as secure as I want it to be.

If it's really loose in the case with standard battery, may be I'll just sell the standard battery and get another extended battery so I can stick with just one case.

Yea the choice for a case that holds an extended battery is limited. Only one that i can find with froogle, google, yahoo, ebay. Only Piel Frama...lower price please.....

U can also get a rhinoskin then drill out an opening for the extended batt at the back

If you put your axim with extended battery in original case its realy hard to get it out.Maybe it just my case but it takes me about 45 seconds to get it out.

After using the X30 for a few days I'm sure I'll need either an additional battery or better an extended battery. Given what you guys said here I think what I'll do is get the 2000 battery and the PF extended case. Fidgeting for 45 seconds just to get the unit out isn't what I would want to do.
