anybody tried to use HP charger adaptor and sync cable?
these are used for 1945
that I am wondering is it compatible with x30 (at least the charging adaptor)

You can use the power cord from an iPaq as long as you use the Dell Power dongle. I tried using the iPaq dongle and like you found it didn't fit.

however, regular 4.5V AC adaptor is compatible with this unit, but pls make sure the current is at least 1A
and I can even use powerbank to charge the battery once
