Screw on the Rhino Skin Case: Does it Fall Off?
I just got a Rhino Skin case and I'm wondering how bad an idea it is to use the screw that came with it.

Thanks! Have you tried it? Has it unloosened on you? I can't imagine why Rhino Skin wouldn't fix a simple problem if there is a problem at all.

Check for a gasket or washer. They did have problems with the first ones that were metal-on-metal. They added a gasket, which should help by quite a bit. You could probably go to your local hardware store and get something like a very amsll thin O-ring if you don't have one handy.

Or you could use the some instant glue, that cement kind. Put it in the hole and put the screw in.

This is pretty hard to undo, isn't it?

Well if you just put a dab (SP?) on, it should loosen up with a pliars.

actually, you can buy a washer and a spring
can be found at hardware store (home improvement) or radio shack
both can help from loosing the screw
actually, the screw is just for belt clip

I used Loc-Tite red. Worked great, but I will never get it out now. If you use the blue you should be able to unscrew it. If you put the Loc-Tite on the bolt threads instead of the threads in the hole it’s much cleaner this way.

I had the screw fall out resulting in a dropped Axim. Lucky for me that it was on carpet and there was no damage to my X30. I contacted Saunders and they sent me a screw with a slotted head. The screw has not fallen out since.
