Has anyone tried Cross' new MicroPen? The "old" MicroPen wasn't specifically made for an Axim but the new one comes with a tip, which is supposed to. The pen can be seen here.

I currently carry my PDA in a zipper case but want to switch to a Bellagio when my Axim finally gets here. What I'll lose is somewhere to carry a pen. Being able to have one in a stylus that fits in the PDA would solve my problem.

My mother-in-law bought me a Cross fountain pen for my graduation. It's pretty crap. Bits of it have fallen off, and it leaks occasionally. And warranty service ... well you've got to send it off into the Great Beyond ...

I've been looking around for a decent stylus/pen and I'm staggered at the pricing of them.

I thought the Cross pen was nice but I wouldn't pay the standard retaio rates for their pens.


There are some good web specials around.

I found a couple of sites who have it for $12. You have to be careful. There's a MicroPen version 1 that only fits certain Palm type PDA's. The version 2 comes with a tip for Axims. I've also seen non-Cross stylus/pen for the Axim on ebay but they look cheap.
