Has anyone had any experience with a 1 gig SD card manufactured by a company called "PQI"? Newegg has one onsale for $ 158.00. Also, any recomendations? Thanks for any help. WB

Go to http://www.pricewatch.com/ and check out the prices; the cheapest price that I found was $129.00 for a 1GB SD card. I'm thinking about the Transcend - 1GB 45X Ultra High Speed Secure from

Hey all,

I am new to the site and found in very informative in both helping me make my decison on the right Axim for me as well as accessories.

Currently my setup incudes

The Axim X30i with the extended battery, rhino case, and foldable keyboard.

I was on the market for a SD card and was interested in the PQI - simply because it seemed like a reasonable value.

I have seen many advertise this for $159 at NewEgg but I found it even cheaper - for $136. Follow the link below - apparently its on sale :-)

I ordered the same Transcend 45x 1G card for my X30H, and had nothing but trouble. It kept loosing data or giving me the dreaded "please format this card" message. I don't know if I just had a "bad card" or are there were bigger problems, a la Sandisk. I since have sent it back. I plan to order the 1G 32X Lexar.

When I put in my 512 kingston, I have had zero problems.
