Traveling in Scotland with my x30
I have a new X30 and will be traveling to Scotland in the next few weeks. Is there a map program (non-GPS) available for the X30 for Scotland?

Also, when I arrive, what will I need to properly charge my X30? I am in the US now.

A quick search of www.handango.com found this map of the UK. there are others, but without knowing what you need it's impossible to research for you. Just go to Handango and search Maps.

Charging in the UK is straight forward, we use 240 volt domestic supply and 3 pin plugs (earthed). If you're using two pin, you can pick up a shaving adaptor plug pretty much anywhere.

If you're taking a laptop or will have access to a USB port on a PC, you can use a synch/charge cable from PDairShop or an incar charging kit from someone like Belkin.

Enjoy Scotland, it is a beautiful place, one that I am fortunate to visit often on business.

We will be staying in St. Andrews and traveling up and down the east coast as well as a day trip to the west coast. So a map of the east coast from St. Andrews down to N. Berwick and a cross country map to the west coast.

That's quite a lot of Scotland!

Try the Ordnance Survey Get-a-map web page. I don't know how well it runs on BT/WIFI but there are a couple of PC sites that might do the trick and you can access them for free. www.multimap.com is another one.

You'll need to try them (I haven't from my Axim) but if it works, it'll save you $'s on software.
