Just wanting your thoughts...

I am wanting to know what accessories YoU think are good for the Dell Axim X30H. By accessories, I am meaning anything from memory cards to games to other cool downloads to whatever you guys use on your ppc's. Thanks a lot for your time, Kevin

For sure get a memory card. And if your going to be typing a lot, get a fold away keyboard. For games and software, do a search on this site.

Well I love my Targus IR Keyboard. But it doesn't work on my X30 High. Others have gotten it to work though. But I would recommend that keyboard.

As for memory cards, any will do. But try to stay away from scandisk's. They have been known to have problems with the Axims.

I have heard quite a bit about Kingston and Lexar SD cards. Which one would you prefer and what are the major differences? Just different companies or what?

Yes, they are just basically different companies. I have a Kingston. But that is mainly because I got it cheap.

Yea, i've got 2 kingston sd, they are working fine (for the most parts) but as already mentioned, it is cheap (after rebates and stuffs), that's y i got them, speed is not too much a factor for me, so i go with the cheaper kingston. And in terms of keyboard, i just ordered the dell bluetooth keyboard (for more info, look for the bluetooth keyboard thread in X30 General discussion forum). And in terms of software, some kind of today plugin and calender is a must. A word processor would be nice too (Textmaker-though too expensive, sigh... i am a poor student!) Software wise, it really depends on what u do, so... If you can tell us what u wanna do with ur axim, we can give u suggestions for softwares and all.

Axim X30 High
Dell Bluetooth Keyboard (aka Executive Keyboard)
Dell Extended Battery (Spare)
Kingston 256MB SD
Kingston 512MB SD
Cheap Belkin Screen Protectors
Nokia 6230 (PDA online EVERYWHERE "well, almost")
Some other softwares...

I travel a reasonable amount of time, and don't always get to stay at hotels with wifi access, so I bought a blue tooth modem for $50 off eBay. It's nice and small and works really well. I'm definitely going to get a keyboard soon though.
