$76.84 SanDisk 512MB- Shoud I buy?
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...onics&n=516870

I looked through the user reviews and some people said that it was a bad card ("Corrupt Data" errors, large file transfer problems, etc.), but many others said it was a great deal. I was planning on buying an SD card anyway, so I'm wondering if I should buy this one. Since I might not really have much use for that much memory on a Pocket PC, I was thinking maybe I should just get a 256MB card instead. Which ones are both good and cheap?

I would not buy a sandisk sd card to use with an axim. Plus, as 24va pointed out, you can get cheaper and better elsewhere.

I have had no problems with SanDisk, but I wouldn't buy another. Why? Because of all the bad reports I have heard it is obvious that they are hit or miss. Why take a chance? Go with one that has more stable & consistent performance.

Do NOT purchase the blue SanDisk SD cards. However, the black (Ultra II) cards rock. Circuit City has them for $79 (256MB)

Yes, Kingston is the way to go, I have two of em and they work great (for the most part) and they are cheap. For me (as a casual pda user), it is adequate. Price to storage size ratio is the most important thing to me.

definately hold off on that deal. Ecost and Newegg have much better deals for a 512 than the one you mentioned.
