Any decent Axim cases for women?
I was about to purchase a new Rhinoskin hard case, but after walking around with my Axim for a 90 min. walkabout meeting I realized I'd still have the same, inconvenient problem. Newsflash to manufacturers: most women don't wear belts!! There is no place to clip a case, and I certainly don't want to carry a purse for every little thing (they're annoying enough!). Does anyone know of any decent options?

I recomend a Sena case, they have several different color
combinations, and the belt clip is optional.
http://www.senacases.com/cart/customer/home.php?cat=284

There's even an optional slide in mirror.

Thank you for replying, and I checked out both sites, but there's still no easy way to carry the thing. I've seen a few beautiful cases, but they don't even have so much as a wrist loop so my hands can be free. Still looking! I think I found one at Coach, but OMG it is too expensive.

Most women wear pants or skirts and a belt clip can easily be attached to a waistband. Belt is not required for a belt clip. I haven't seen any with a wrist loop. I use a Piel Frama without the belt clip and just throw it in my handbag. I think the Armor case has a neck strap but don't know how convenient it is to use while in the case.

a case with a wrist strap?
Couldnt you just add one to a case?

I know this wont help..... but here's something.
This is the Javo Edge skin case.
http://www.javoedge.com/simtrix/prod...stSkinCase.jsp

here's a review of the case, and shows some better pictures, with
the wrist strap.
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2981

I know thats not what your looking for, but it does have
a wrist strap.

The Axim model wont be available for a few weeks though..

OFF TOPIC.

Sorry but I can't resist asking what a 'walkabout meeting' is?

Obviously what springs to mind is a meeting where you walk while you talk but that boggles the mind

Thanks
Mark.

the coach pda case is 68 bucks.
if it fits your need, the price is not bad.
a souped up vaja cost you upward of 100 bucks.
plus, you get coach quality.

Thanks, I'll check out any new sites. Regarding clipping a case to a waistband, I find that cases are usually too heavy for most fine fabrics, and don't work if you wear a shirt or blouse that is not meant to be tucked in. I'd add a wriststrap myself, but I'm not sure how without it looking too makeshift, like a camp project (I'm not too talented with things like that). Any ideas?

Finally, a "walkabout meeting" is one where you walk and talk, as is commonly done in educational administration when inspecting a school site, making appointments "on the fly," in hallways, or anywhere else people may find you. It sucks, but it's the nature of the game. I didn't realize that finding a simple case that would also leave my hands free (without a belt clip) would be so hard to find! Thanks again!
