Hey, some discerning listeners find that headphones this expensive are a good use of their money. You can get a pair of low-end Shure e2c's for $70. If you are looking for a pair a decent quality headphones, thats a pretty decent deal.

If you think MP3s at 192 sound just fine, then $15 earbuds will likely float your boat as well.

Here is a link to the ones I have, but they are almost two years old, and Sony has come out with more models in the same "Fontopia"series that have the same features I like, and maybe have more nice features, so I would Google "Sony Fontopia" and see what you can find.

What about using the MX500 with different ear pieces. Anyone ever use these http://www.slicsound.com/ss001.asp.
