Does anyone know of an external antenna such as a rubber duckie type for wifi that I can attach to my x30 and connect via the sync connector. Would this significantly improve signal strength? BTW what is that connector called?

I saw the inside pics of X30 on FCC site, and the builtin antenna is connected with standard plug, so you might open your X30 and remove that plastic antenna cover and remove the builtin antenna, you should be then able to connect any external antenna
but don't kill me if you fry your Axim by messing with it ;-)

Wow, thanks for the info. But sounds kind of drastic. I wonder if anyone makes an antenna that can connect via the SD slot or the synch slot. I'm surprised that no one has tried setting up an external antenna for their axim x30. Anyone?
