Boxwave - How does it fit
How much of the screen do the Boxwave protectors cover on the AX30?
I just got mine and put one on. It does not go all the way to the edge of the screen, but it is very close. It should be fine, it is such a small area that probably won't even be touched by the styli.
On the Boxwave package it just says it is for a Pocket PC, it does not specify for Axim 30.

Thanks

Hey exceldent,

Here is a link to a recent thread that addresses this topic: ClearTouch 'fit' Link

Check the BoxWave post on this page and let me know if it helps!

Cheers,
Cho

Hehehe,

I will reproduce the "Noisy Crow" method of putting these on ... should be stickied Cheryl.

Quote Aximsite member Noisy Crow:

"Okay, I fought with my new ClearTouch Crystal screen protector, and here's a very simple way to get it on right the first time. (Note: no expressed or implicit warranties etc..... if your wreck something you have only yourself to blame!)

Step 1: Put the screen protector in place on the screen, right side up, protective film still in place.

Step 2: Take a piece of clear tape (preferably the low-tack 'invisible' kind about an inch wider than your Axim. Fold about a 1/4" over on itself at the end to make things easier later. Stick the tape across the Axim, half on the screen protector, half on the Axim case. You don't have to crease it in... just make sure it's stuck to both. You have just created a hinge.

Step 3: Take another piece of tape and stick it to the other end of the protector as a handle.

Step 4: Lift the handle carefully and the protector will lift up. Carefully remove the protective film (don't touch the screen or the sticky side of the protector!)

Step 5: Warp the protector slightly (try pressing a finger in the middle gently) and then lay the protector down starting at the hinge end, making sure that it has good contact as you go. A credit card or similar helps here.

Step 6: Once the protector is in place carefully remove the tape. If you pull at a sharp angle (almost flat back over itself) you can get it off without pulling up the protector. Use your stylus to press near where the tape is peeling off to help make sure. If there is any tape residue left behind use the sticky side of another piece of tape to pick it off. "
