Moonlight-Tech Experience
All,

I've seen moonlight tech advertised on this site a few times and went ahead and ordered a battery and accessory kit from them on the 15th. Haven't heard back from them with a shipping status after numerous emails and they're in PA and I'm in Ohio, so the ship time should be about a day at most.

Anyone else have, or having, a similar experience.

Thanks!

Hmmm, strange.

I ordered some charging kits in the Spring and had no problems whatsoever. And many other people on these forums report no problems either. I don't know how big they are. If they're a 'mom & pop' shop perhaps they're on vacation?

I too had many problems with them. There's really no contact information from them besides email. When you do email, it takes forever, literally a week, before they respond. It took almost a month from the time I placed my order until I got my extended battery. In between, I was playing cat and mouse with them. And they kept telling me "Any day now, it's in the mail." I even believe they gave me false tracking numbers.

It finally did come. And when it dide come, some of the paint on my extended battery was scratched off. Again I email, waited 5 days. They email back saying that "during the manufacturing process" some of the paint may have been worn off. I was like BS! I wanted a new one, but they have not returned my emails for more than a week.

NEVER ORDER FROM THESE CHARLETONS... MOONLIGHT TECH.... YOU HEARD ME... LOW PAR CUSTOMER SERVICE GETS FLAMES FROM ZEFRAM!

Experience good!
Okay, props when they are due. The package from Moonlight showed up on my desk this afternoon, so I'd say the process ended well. I see nothing wrong with my Mugen battery, although I do see the paint chip you mentioned on the battery, but come on, that probably happened in shipping or at the factory. Anyway, it's not enough for me to complain about, I'm easy.

I would have liked a ship notice or something like that from Moonlight-tech tho, or at least an auto acknowledgement for my emails, but, the product is here, as advertised, and all is well in mudville.

thanks moonlight-tech!

Never Again
My Company deals with alot of hand healds and due to vender going out of business we were forced to find alternate resources for battery replacement. We decided to try Moonlight and after placeing an very small order (That we never recived) We decided to e-mail them as that is the only contact information that works he complained of family issues that kept him from sending order in a timely manner. This I understand and said that he would ship the order the next day. I found this to be acceptable as this seems to be a mom and pop operation that I now know will never be able to handle the volume of orders that our company would need to forfill our obligations to our customers, However the battery still has not arrived and now he will not respond to any e-mails sent.

We are now forced to report his company to the BBB located in Pittsburg, and contact our legal representaion to recover our loss. My suggestion is to stay away from this company and find other vendors to place your order. They may be a little more exspensive but at least you will get what you order. I understand that a lot of people have gotten what they ordered from them, but after doing some surfing on the web about this company I have seen that it can take more than a month for you to get your delivery. Order at your own risk. We will never do business with them again.

I would like to thank those whom have posted info for alternative means of of battery replacement. Now I have to clear all orders with the owner thanks to moonlight tech but he is looking into it. As the to Moonlight Tech I have been E-mailing them for two weeks now with no answer. I guess we will have to go to the next step and file with the FBI's internet fraud unit and sue.
