Anyone own a Belkin leather case?
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Belkin leather case in the following link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5723754575

The main thing I am concerned with is the plastic holster that the Axim slides in to. Is it secure? Will it wear with time? Let me know what you think of the case.

Thanks in advance,
Joseph

It's too late, I was the winning bidder of that auction . The Sena cases look very nice, but are a bit to expensive for me right now. I'm still try to justify my X30-mid and 1GB SanDisk SD card to my wife. I got the Belkin case for US$10.00.

Flip Case
I have been using this case for the past 4 or 5 months, and am very satisfied with it. the thing you speak of that the axim slides into is not plastic, its metal, with leather or something wrapped around it to keep from scratching that axim. i have only had my axim fall out of it once, and thats when i didnt slide it in right, but besides that, its a great case

Got the same case, got it off ebay also, love it, never had a single problem with it.

The only thing I did with mine was to cut a piece a plastic to slide in the front cover, under the MCC/SD card holder, to give the front some more screen protection.

I'm happy to hear that you guys are satisfied with thiss case. I may have to add some more plastic as well.

Just one more question. Would it fit comfortably into your pant's pocket? I know it has a belt clip on it, is it detachable, or small enough that it wouldn't bother you while the case is in your pocket?

Probably, but I wouldn't, if thats what you want to do get a Rhino.
As for the belt clip, no it's not detachable, I cut mine off.

I bought a Belkin w/my 640mhz X30. It is Mod# F8D2402 at Belkin.com

A little bulky maybe....but very light weight..... I would say I could drop it (fully zipped on cement and not have to worry..... It holds 3-4 credit cards and 4
standard SD cards.......this 29.00 case (at Dell) is sweet because it
also works as a stand in Landscape Mode.....
So Diggit tech freeks....

I second the vote for a Sena case. It seems the belkin is on the way to you though. Hope you like it.

Wolfmeister, could you make the font any larger?

Give it up dude. She'll never buy your justification, no matter how good. Most women just don't get technolust. I stopped trying to make my wife understand ages ago. Now she just shakes her head.

BTW, I got the same case from eBay too. Hasn't gotten here yet, but it's on its way. Does anyone know if it will fit with the 1800 mah battery? Thinkin' about getting one..

Looking at mine with the standard Dell battery, I doubt it will fit with the 1800 installed.

I know. I try to convince her that it's an investment in our future (I'm a programming student interested in mobile development). She doesn't buy it .
