I have just buyed the targus keyboard, but it doesn't work. I can install it in my PDA. But no response when i type the key. I use the 1.31 verson downloaded from targus site.

My device:
Axim X30 high
CE second edition
Is it a problem with CE SE?

anybody can kindly help me? how can i do ?

very bad, i try to uninstall my targus driver and install it again. but although the program was removed as showed in settings. it still here in the programs and shows in start menu.now it have show three IR keyboard in my start menu. no one can work.

Is there any expert can help? I have search the forum. but no one share same experience as me.

Are you sure that the keyboard and your Axim can see each other? Is there any sort of diagnostic that tells you about the link?

no, only tell me to uncheck the "receive all incoming beam"

how happy i will if it can work. and it seems the targus's service email is difficult to get

Okay, maybe a dumb question, but did you make sure the IR ports on the keyboard and the Axim are correctly aligned?

yes, the IR port on the keyboard and Axim aligned correctly. I am sure.

now the software seems also have problem. I delete the IRkeybd files using file explorer. but every time i open the PDA, it show a warning "cannot execute\windows\start Menu\IRkeyBd.exe", I think it due to uncomplete. Is there anybody know how to delete the file completely?
Even using the "Remove Program", it can't work

well I have a Targus keyboard and it works fine. Could be your batteries? Cause thats what was wrong with mine the 1st time.

Thanks very much, I will try. I have try other methods including the hard reset except to checking the batteries.
