Boxwave Versacharger & Minisync
Anyone tried the new Boxwave VersaCharger with the minisync and their Axim?

I have been waiting for over a month to receive my Belkin 3 in 1 Travel Kit from Dell for my Axim X30. It is backordered for at least another week, and I am frustrated enough to cancel it!! So I went looking for alternatives and it looks like the Boxwave Versacharger with a minisync will do the job nicely.

I need screen protection too, so I contacted Boxwave to see if they have a bundle available like their other products, but they don't, and they gave me no cause to think they would anytime soon. So I am still looking...

Anyone have any input, insight, opinions, comments (on this)?

No one has any input on the Boxwave Versacharger? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I just got both the Versacharger and minisync yesterday. I tried the Versa charger in my car's cigarette lighter and it charged just fine. It's a little tricky connecting the cable to the Axim, but I don't thing that's the cable's fault.

The minisync is very cool, it has a series of stops as you pull out the cable, then to roll the cable back in you just pull and release. Nice design.

I just got my versacharger and screen protector yesterday after ordering it 2 weeks ago.

I attached the protector right away and it did make a significant difference to the older screen protector i was using before (bought one of those everything-you'll-ever-need-for-your-pda BOX from Compusa).

The versacharger, however, does not seem to be charging the x50v (must be defective). I also tried attaching the charger to the cig lighter on my jeep and attached a CF GPS receiver to the x50v - it drained the battery instead of charging it.

Seidio sells charger and cable too. why don't you check it out? I think it is cheaper than boxwave.

I've had the MiniSync/VersaCharger for about 3 moths now & absolutely love it! I highly recommend it!

With my old PPC, I have a USB Sync/Power cable, USB-to-AC/DC Power, USB-to-Cig Lighter...What a PAIN!!!

When I got my X30, I wanted the same setup...But without the BULK.

The VersaCharger and MiniSync combo do the job nicely...
