*PUSH* Nobody knows something? Bittorrent would be fine as protocol! I tought of taking python for PPC (exists) and take the original bittorrent-client (exists, written in python) and try it. But as I see the Python-Port isnt capable of networking, so it wont work!

i also thought about using bittorent, i thought that maybe azurus (sp?) may work with some kinda java VM on pocket pc, but i never got round to trying it. come to think of it, if that works, limewire should as well, which is basically what you guys are looking for

doh... my bad... i thought i found a site for limewire on a pocketpc... but i was wrong 0_o need... more... caffeine... *!*

there's also ftp servers and clients available.


also available are web servers, whitch came come quite handy.

there is a long winded solution that will work as long as
1. You leave your pc connected to the internet.
2. You have ftp space available.

it wont use the wifi connection your pocket pc is connected to, to download the peer2peer stuff (sorry to the guy with only 56K!) but you could setup terminal server or VPN and use that to download files on your pc, and ftp them up to a server, where you can then download them from onto the pocket pc, you could even re-encode movies on the pc before you ftp them onto the server.

a bit messy I know but its a work around until p2p comes to the ppc
