Do you have to remove the aluminum case before hotsynching?
1) Do you have to remove the aluminum case before hotsynching?

2) Any leather case allowing hotsynching without undressing X30?

3) Any case accomodating extended battery beside Piel Frama

Thanks
P.S. I am thinking of buying an aluminum case and carry it in a targus universal case on my belt... But removing the case everyday to do the hotsync will for sure drive me mad.

I don't see the issue...

I take my X30 out every day to do a number of things...to charge it and to sync it at the same time, to replace batteries, etc.

One thing that surprised me when I bought my X30 was that the "extra capacity" battery that I bought wouldn't fit in the case! I probably should have looked into that further...but then I found a fellow on Ebay selling Dell batteries for $15 each...and thankfully, they work great.

Getting the Axim out of the case is easy, and takes all but a second or two...and if you change your battery, you're going to have to do it anyway. I think this would be true of most makes of Pocket PCs.

Thank you guys for taking time to answer my question. Actually I am planning to purchase a 2000mA battery and use it as my main battery so that I do not have to remove my PDA too often from its protective case.

I may have a good news for those in same position as I. Here is a case that may accomodate an extended battery. Check it out.

Yep, I have a generic metal case from e-bay. It's kinda of bulky so I have to take it out, in order to sync
