Keyboards: IR vs Bluetooth
I know that the Bluetooth must be awesome but I am concerned about battery usage.

I think that if I use the InfraRed it wouldn't use as much battery, am I right?

What's your preference?

Can you disable your wireless antenna while using the Bluetooth (just like you can use the WiFi without bluetooth) to save battery?

And also, how much did you pay for your keyboard?

Yes you can. You can turn on bluetooth by itself by touching the icon on the bottom righthand of the screen.

I have the Ir version and it makes no difference in battery life. It's just like using no keyboard at all or maybe less than 5 minutes less.

I have a BT keyboard, and think its much better than the IR one I had. Too large and fiddly. Battery life isn't as long, but with the 3 min auto shutdown, etc, there's not much difference. If you have the extra cash, then shell out for a BT (Thinkoutside?) keyboard.
