Extended battery with Belkin Flip Case....
...fits! I just got an 1800 MAH battery, and the X30 with it fits fine in Belkin's leather flip case. It's a bit snug, but it works. Just thought some of you might want to know.

Did you have to force it or anything? I tried to get mine to fit in at first, but it wouldnt even go in. Also, could you take pics to show us who havent done it, so we can try the way you did and see if it works for us?

Sorry folks, but my wife just took off with the digital camera (on her way to hang with the grandkids). As soon as she returns(Tuesday) I'll get some pics. I plan on taking this setup out in the field tomorrow to GPS test it, so I'll include that info too.

Well, I still have no pics just yet, but I did take this combo out for a hike today, and it was fine. The X30 stayed firmly in the case with repeated belt clip removals and replacements. This was my biggest concern, as strolling up the trail holding the Axim in your hand is, at best, impractical. Hey, I know! I could rig up a holder that would go around my head and hold the X30 right at eye level! Yeah, that's the ticket....

Pics coming in a day or so.

on a second attempt, i tried, and infact it does fit...but not securely for my needs. its completely inside the case as it would be with the regular battery, but its not under the hooks or whatever you want to call them, that keeps the PDA from falling out. it does work fine like this, but i definitely wont be leaving it on my belt like that, but inside my pocket instead.

OK, here are a couple of pics of the side view from the top (does that make sense?). It's the best I could get with my mediocre camera, but I think it shows how the Axim is still in the 'grip' of the side holders even with the bulk of the extended battery. Hope this helps.
