Another Belkin IR keyboard question..
Ok so i just got it like 10 mins ago I installed the driver and enabled it and all..now in the "manual" it says for me to hold the shift keys untill the ppc recognizes it and a small icon appears on the bottom corner...i hold the keys and move the keyboard around but i get no icon, it seems it doesnt recognize it. Please some help, i cant wait to use it

Did you disable 'Receive all incoming beams'? Did you install a fresh battery? Also, move your keyboard and X30 such that the IR ports are really close together (i.e., no mirror). Then if they connect, slowly move them to the position you want.

ok, now the buttons on the far left (messages, calander etc) are working, but no other keys work...any idea

I'm not really sure. There have been posts from some reporting difficulties with this particular keyboard, but posts from others praising it. The fact that the left side buttons work indicates that you are indeed getting a connection. The only thing I can suggest now is to contact Belkin. (I know you are not in the U.S. but perhaps they can still be of some assistance to you.)

I've had the EXACT same problem. And,... the EXACT same response from Belkin eg. NONE!!!

The keyboard is currently in my desk drawer.

PS: The driver is a b#tch to uninstall

sh*t thats not good news lol..theres gota be something we can do! I dont want this keyboard to just lay there and collect dust, like its doin now. Makes no sence why those buttons work but none of the keys do.

Still no reply from Belkin, does any of the aximsite admins have any direct contact with belkin so we could get a answer to why this is happenin?

Upgraded my rom and STILL only the messages, tasks etc buttons work. Im really gettin annoyed now, i feel like smashing it on my floor.

sorry STILL havent found a solution, i would just send it back to Belkin but i live far far away and cant really be bothered. Its been collecting dust in my closet for many days now, i guess ive just given up.

found whats the problem
I found what is the problem with mine, i use the nightvision of my camcorder and only the key for the notes, calendar, and task works, the other don't emite any signal in the infrared. Check yours
