Thin cover? Look no further.
Though it's been lauded here before I thought I would chime in my two cents.

The Bullguard is really quite nice. So simple and efficient. The Carbon Fiber pattern is really nice.

Kudos to Bulldog for making this availble.

Does it really offer a lot of protection though?

It only covers the top, but I still like it.

Thanks Abouna!
The cover is meant to allow you to slip it in a pants/shirt/coat pocket and not worry about anything scratching/poking the screen. If you are worried about droppage issues you'll need something like the rhinoskin aluminum's.

Bulldog for extended battery
Does the Bulldog fit an Axim X30 with an extended battery? I talked with the Javoskin people. They were very helpful, and I liked their product, but their case assumed the battery is flush with the back of the unit. Does Bulldog know that many of us live on our extended batteries?

Since it only covers the top, the extended battery should not be a problem. Bulldog, can you confirm this?

I can confirm it. As it is a front cover only, you could strap a brick on the back of the X30 and the cover would still work!

Hi all,
I'm new to the site. I have been a Palm user (M130, Tungsten T) for a few years, but have finally decided to convert. I am anxiously awaiting for my Axim X30H to arrive. I like the looks of the Bullguard cover. It reminds me very much of the cover on Tungsten T. That cover is very convienent and it makes the PDA fit in my pocket nicely, but it tends to rub the finish off the case where the cover makes contact and rubs. I was wondering if the Bullguard case causes the same condition on the X30? I want to get this case, but I don't want to wear the finish off my brand new PDA. Any experiences anyone has had with this case would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

it rubs on the sides a little bit, but for me it's not that big of a deal. i really only care about protecting the screen, and it does that really well. plus, it keeps the axim nice and slim so it fits in my pocket perfectly.

Computer was down... again... have another one up for time being. Sorry for delayed responses.
Yes you can fit extended batts.
Yes it rubs a little. I find that if you "snap" it into place going left side first then right that is the easiest way and will cause very minimal wear to the Ax when done in this manner. I'm sure others would agree as some already have.

Thanks for the responses. After what I have read I am going to go with the bullguard because I use my PDA at work everyday and I need to be able to fit it in my pocket. This seems like the best solution that keeps things the most compact. Bulldog, look for my order shortly.

Will this cover work while the X30 is in the Dell Executive leather case? In other words where does it clamp down as the X30 slides into the Dell case and I am looking for extra protection.

On the sides just above the record and wifi buttons about 2cm or so. If that's the leather slip case with a belt clip on it, it will fit but it's a little tight.

Just got my clear Bullguard today. It's exactly what I was looking for! Keeps the nice, thin X30, nice and thin for the pants pocket, just like my former PalmIII built-in flip cover.

Great product! You should see if Dell is interested.
