Metal Stylus

I just got my sterling silver stylus from this site and I love it! It is so much better than the plastic "twig" that Dell included with my X30. He's only got 3 left but I highly recommend it!

I ordered one on 11-17-04, payment cleared my account on 11/22/2004.

How long did it take to get to you?

I'm in the US, more-or-less due South of you, more-or-less as far due South of you as you can go.

I ordered it on the 19th and it arrived on the 26th. 1 week is pretty good considering it came from the UK.

I am sure this is a nice stylus, but just for your information, the stylus that comes with the x30 is not plastic. It is also metal. It is made of hard aluminum.

What's good about the silver stylus? Does it feel better/write smoother or what? And is it heavy?

It is heavier for sure. I really have to push/tap harder on the Axim screen with the Dell stylus compared to my iPaq. This new stylus seems to add enough weight to use it like I normally did with my iPaq.

It also fits more snug in the slot than the original stylus. The original one was always getting pulled out when I put it in and out of my case. This new stylus is tighter.

Plus, if I am ever attacked by a werewolf, I'll have a weapon!

.

Just got mine in the mail today!!

It is definitely heavier, and feels much better in the hand.

Have to admit though....I rarely use the Axim Stylus. Though this one feels much better to the fingers,
it's still a bit too small for my HUGE hand.......
(I admit (anthropomorphogically speaking), I bought it as a Christmas present for my X5/400.
.....(I had the funds, my buddy Ron Rico was over........what can I say? ).

Mine isn't any "more snug" in the storage slot, but it won't easily "slip/fly" out.
........even with repeated, forceful slinging it, with considerable force.
.
.

.
.
..........gotta admit......very surprised that the tip IS Silver....(ie; METAL).

...But, as I'm a "tapper", as opposed to a "dragger", I'm not too concerned.

(It is a VERY smooooth tip, none-the-less........)
