I got a X30 replacement battery from ebay. The mark on the battery shows its brand is "PowerSmart". Does any one have any exprience with these batteries? Any explosions =)?

That's the thing. I couldn't find it from internet. What brand did you get from your ebay seller? Anyone actually got a "PowerSmart" battery before?

I have one of these, too. I haven't put it in my x30 yet, but I do keep it charged in the cradle (or in my holster when I'm out of the office) and haven't had any problems.

Someone put lots of used X1111 batteries on eBay with description "PULLED FROM WORKING CORPORATE OFF LEASE PDA UNITS." Are these X3 batteries good enough as back-up for X30? I think they share the same spec. Any advice?

I got one I use as a backup. Used it for about a week and had no problems with it. Only reason it's not my main battery is I need to get a case for the extended battery.

I bought one a while ago and used it exclusively for the first week I had it just to see how well it would hold up. It does not appear to have any variation in how long it lasts compared to the one that came with my Axim.

I have one 1800mAh
so far so good
but I charge it on cradle, not the unit itself

I have one and I don't know what the big deal is about charging it in the Axim. I guess people are paranoid that it will blow up. Well mine hasn't and is working great. Like the others, I can't tell the difference between the standard Dell battery and the $17 one from Ebay.
