Integrated 802.11b but what about
A question has been stuck in my mind. I am waiting on the delivery of a X30. It will access the internet through my wireless network, but what about when a person in on the road. Hotels generally offer hard wired internet service. I figured others have thought about this. So what is your solution (other than wifi hotspots)???? I was thinking of carrying a wireless access point but that would get big and bothersome. So without CF to add an ethernet adapter, I am wondering what others have thought of, or are doing currently.

Thanks for the help

You can purchase an Apple Airport to take with you on the road. Its a very compact wreless router that you can use in hotels with hard wired inernet access

You can also connect to the Internet using your cell phone (via cable or BT [if you have BT capabilities]) if you subscribe to data service or can use your minutes for dialup. Although this does not use wifi, it's an alternative when you're in a pinch.

In addition to the Apple Airport, there are other portable wireless routers. Some of them can be had for less $ than the Apple if that is an important consideration. Here's a 3C0M on pricegrabber.
and an ASUS too. ($60 range)
