Best case for wrist attachment?
I've recently purchased an X30 which I intend to use in the field for as-built surveying. I'd like to attach the X30 to my wrist so that I can have both hands free, but at the same time quickly enter data. I've seen a few of types of "wearable" wrist supports which enable a person to mount the PDA via. velcro pads adhered to the PDA itself. While one of these might work OK, I don't really want to stick anything to my X30, and they don't offer any sort of screen protection.
So, I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen a case / wrist support system that might work for me. I've thought of buying an aluminum case to put the X30 in, and then adhering the velcro pads to the case for attachment to the wrist support. But then I'd have to figure a way to confine the lid so that it didn't flap around in the open position...
Any thoughts and/or sources would be much appreciated!
Mark

Not sure if this would work for you, but Krusell offers wrist lanyards that attach to the same dongle used for the beltclip on the back of their case -

I bought my case from AximCases at a really good price and they have exellent customer service, not sure if they have the wriststraps in stock or special order them - http://www.aximcases.com/store/aximx3.html

Being on your wrist, am I right in assuming that we are talking about using the Axim in Landscape mode?

Hm... I wanted to have my Axim firmly attached to my wrist and use it in landscape mode to enter data. I already looked for some cases but I don't know which of the alu cases work with the Mugen 2000mAh battery... and then I would have to handcraft something like two wristbands which hold the case exactly where it should be... I would prefer a prepared solution

None of the aluminum cases work with the extended battery. The only armored case that fits it would be this one from Otterbox: http://www.otterbox.com/product.cfm?product=108&code=NA

Well this ones really deserve the attribute ARMOR. They are nice for people who work outside but they're not that handy when carrying them at your wrist
