2000mah Mugen Battery
I just recieved this battery and i am quite excited. I am going to follow the directions to the letter. Now it says to charge these batteries fully and let them completely drain and do this 3-5 times. My question is, how long do these batteries take to charge and drain? Thanks
Ecks
ps..i've already done the initial 12hr charge, how long does it take to charge on a regular use.

Blazer7,

Was this a complaint or a compliment.

On the first charge you should let it charge overnight. Even if the green light on the cradle comes on. You should still let it get a full charge overnight AND you should have it in the PDA while doing so. It's better for the battery.

It is OK if you left it in the cradle. Just sometimes the PDA has difficulty to recognise the capacity of the larger batteries unless they are charged together. It will not change the usefulness of your battery. I would suggest though, that you charge the battery overnight after you've drained it a few times just to get the battery going nicely.

This very well may be one of those stupid questions, but....how do you drain the battery except to keep the AX on, which means leaving the screen lit up? Yes, I've read from other posts that the LCD screens on the Ax will not get screen burns, but I have also read that you can get a (temporary?) image impression on the screen if it is left light up for extended periods of time.

So, besides leaving the Ax on with the screen lit up, how do I drain the battery?

you can put an mp3 on and set it to repeat the song over and over. or you can play a movie or use the wifi and set the processor to maximum performance and put the brightness on high.

I usually watch a movie with wifi on and the screen on full brightness.

Cheers
