great so I assume the usb interface on x3 and x30 are exactly the same?

also is it possible to charge the unit through the keyboard?

There is no USB on the Axims. There is a port at the bottom that allows connection for syncing/charging. This port is identical on the X3 and X30 series.

That connector has USB uplink (which is not used by the keyboard), power input (connected to a power port on the side), power output (used to power the keyboard), and an I2C-like data bus (used by the keyboard interface).
