Questions RE x3i Cases
Hello,

This is my first post here at aximsite.com and I'm hoping some folks here can help me. Before I continue, I want to add that I've searched the forums thoroughly for answers.

I'm looking for a case that can be used on an x3i with the extended 1800mah batters and preferably, with the regular one as well. I know that PDAir is releasing the new extended battery hard case (any ideas yet on its functionality with reg batt?) and that Piel Frama has one as well. I read on someone's post that the Krussel fits with an extended battery as well as the regular. I know that a few reviews have had trouble (especially with the sync cable) but another thread talked about Krussel having fixed the design flaws. Any idea on that? Also, any idea how I would know if I'm purchasing an old or revised design Krussel?

I'd really appreciate any thoughts you have. Thanks in advance for your help! I look forward to the replys...

Welcome to the site!

Aximcases.com has a few that work with both batteries. If you go to the top of the page under Shopping and then Discounts you will find a thread that gives you a discount from their site.

Are you wanting a hard or soft case?

I'm open to either. I've never had a hard case, only had a leather case book style case on an old palm based handheld and the canvas case that came with a Casio e-125. Any thoughts or opinions on soft vs. hard case would be very interesting!

Anyone know about how to tell the redesigned Krussel from the original?

Thanks!

The Krussel case that fits the extended battery is the Horizontic PDA-S case. It is not specifically for the X3i, but holds it quite well. It also has pockets for SDIO cards. I got mine at www.ExecutivePDA.com - http://www.executivepda.com/s.nl/sc....t.A/id.1383/.f
