Charge & Sync Cable for X3
I know this has been asked before, but I keep seeing advertisement for sync & CHARGE cables for the Dell Axim X3. Has anything changed that would allow me to buy one of these things and charge my X3 without the AC adapter?

Also looking for a Sync/Charge cable and have a related question... Can I use a cable advertised for X3 with an X30, are the connectors the same?

Yes, a sunc and charge cable will charge you AXIM, but if the unit is VERY low or dead on power you may need to leave it there a while.

are you talking about the usb cable charging the unit. If you are it takes forever, and the ppc has to be off. (I only have used the dell cradle with no ac adapter pluged in or just the usb sync cable)

I have been using the mini Sync cable (USB) with great results. I have not had the problems with slow charge times, in fact it's just the opposite. I try not to let the battery get below 50% charge, that may be why I haven't seen the issues brought up.

But, for the price and convenience, I would recommend at least trying it.

I've got the Zip-LinQ version, together with their wall and car chargers, and am always able to refresh my battery through the PC USB -

I've been using it for some time now.
As per their tech support, it will not charge a nearly dead computer, but as long as it is half charged it works perfect.
