I just ordered a X3 after owning an X5 for about 3 years. I've still got the cradle and charger from the X5. Can I use these gadgets for my new machine ?

I've never entered anything to a forum yet so I hope I'm doing this right.

About the only things compatible are the Stylus and the Charger (not the cradle...and if you have the adapter to plug straight into the X3). The charger can be plugged into the cradle.

SD Cards (not CF), and most software.

No, you cannot. However, the accessories for the X3s, X3i and X30s are completely interchangeable.

Good point about the AC adapter (and stylus). However, to plug it directly into the X3, you need to use the adapter piece (included with your X3).

Thnx for the quick response. I guess I'll be making some more visits after the new toy has arrived.
