review: PDair Aluminum Case EXTENDED BATTERY FIT
I'm not very fond of the leather cases, mainly because they do not provide the solid protection of a hard case and their price is insane.

the PDair case is one of the few hard cases designed to fit the extended battery. and the 15% discount on aximcase.com made it an amazing deal for X30 users.

when I first got the case, I wasn't too impressed because it felt a little bulky. I mean the axim was fat enough with the extended battery, but with the hard case it just got extended even more. other than that the case was excellent and fits the axim perfectly.

there are cutouts for sync cable, headphone jack, etc. and must say the case is very secure once closed. the package comes with beltclip that screws on the back of the case. another very nice add-on.

the surface of the case is very smooth, and very tough. for many times I thought I might have scretched... but turns out... nope! i didn't... The neoprene lining inside is very smooth and soft. it absorbs shocks and prevent damage to your Axim.

I haven been using it for about 3 weeks and it still looks brand new. so far i dropped the axim 3 times already. yea thats about once every week. so I'm thankful I have this case.

I give the PDair case a 8/10

For those who use the X30 with extended battery (imo, if you have the X30 then extended battery is a must) this is one of the best cases around. Solid protection again almost anything except water and dust.

And do get it from Aximcases.com while the discount lasts. I'm very impressed about their super fast shipping. only 4 days! and was professionally packaged.

After doing a little research I decided to go a head and order this case. Along with the case I decided to buy the boxwave crystal screen protector. I wasn't really sure if I should have gone with the anti-glare one instead, but since I mainly use my axim inside I thought the crystal one would be better.

In regards to the PDair case, I also liked how much easier it was to get the Axim in and out of the case than with the Rhinoskin or Innopocket. Even so, the Axim was held secure in the case.

It's not a fatal mistake...the protectors aren't that expensive, and you can always get them off the device...

I've heard that the clarity is less on the anti-glare than on the crystal, so I've dealt with the occasional reflection while watching a movie (the only time I really ever notice it).

Funny, I just made the EXACT same purchase. I bought some VERY cheap screen protectors from Ebay that I was unsatisfied with (They feel like I'm using my Axim through a very thick condom and have greasy looking bubbles everywhere). I had already purchased a Mugen Power extended battery and had been using it with my original Dell leather case (man was it stretched out) so the PDair case and the Boxwave protector are a welcome addition.

Hold on I'll post tomorrow with a pic! You will laugh! I left the leather case in my desk ever since I got my new PDair. I will get it so you can relish the silliness.

It is difficult to see but the top of the case is pretty stretched out... if I wear it on my belt it tends to get caught on things. However it worked when I was waiting for the Pdair
