Has anyone hooked a X3i to a Garmin GPS V?

I have a Dell Axim X3i and a Garmin GPS V. I was wondering if I got the correct cable to hook them up, what would the Axim be able to display for me that the GPS is not already doing other than maybe a color picture. What do others of you use this type of setup for? I only see a use for the storing capability of the maps on my 512 SD card on my Axim. Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm curious -- have you seen a cable that would connect the 2 units? If so, where did you see it? I'm like you, I would be interested to know if anyone had done this yet.

I am having a bit of trouble myself, I have the Sportrak and got the lead to connect to the X3 and then set up Fugawi 3 which supports Pocket PC but cant get the Sportrak to connect to the X3 ? I have tried re-setting and stuff but cant get the GPS port open on the X3 so that might be something to look forward to if you are going to give it a try.

Just curious, will the display on the x3i be in color? The Garmin V is just black and white.

Also, where did you find the cable?

I had to give up on connecting a gps receiver to my X3i. Kept losing the Signal. When Aldi food stores came out with the Medion pocket pc with the receiver built in I decided to buy it. It works great! When I tried using my X3i as a gps viewer it did not allow me to maintain the connection when I wanted to use the recorder function. The nice thing about the receiver built in you can also use it while hiking or riding a bicycle.
