Just received my new Aluron case for x30 ($19.00 from cases.com)

First impressions:
1 FINISH -micro textured,looks like paint overspray,my arrived
pre scratched on the rear...no first scratch apprehension
2 QUALITY -nicely formed corners ,not a sharp edge in sight on
the case edges,lid to case seam tolerances are quite good,
however the hinge is a little bit wiggly.
the interior neoprene fits perfectly to the case,all cut outs
for access are accurate and nicely rounded.
3 FIT - the x30 slides in from the top of the case under the
neoprene lined folded edges,there is about 1/8 inch side to
side play,the x30 is held snugly in place by two rough
and poorly finished plastic keepers that grab onto the top
raised feet on the axim,these are mounted on two spring
bars. It works but over time the plastic keepers may wear
the finish.
