I'm wondering if the innopocket case can fit in the cradle, or do you have to remove X30 from the case?? What about the Rhino??

Afraid it can not. You would need to remove it from the case.

Same is true of the Rhinocase. There are a few leather cases on aximcases.com that have limited the amount of coverage at the bottom to allow you to put it in the cradle while still in the case. But there are no hard sided cases for this.

Any idea what cases are the smallest and lightest weight? I want slim and trim, but still protective.

Many here use the Inno case and are quite happy with its size and light weight.
