BT Keyboard
I didn't see this thread in here so if this is a duplicate I apologize. I bought the Dell BT Executive Keyboard w/ my new Axim X30H, what can I do to make them connect quicker. Either I'm not in the right place or maybe it's just not possible but my Axim will not let me create a shortcut to automatically sync to the BT Keyboard, every time I want to use it I have to go back in to BT Settings and enable it, which means I have to let my Axim search for it and then connect to it, a process which takes between 1-3 minutes in all. This is not good during class or in a business meeting so if anyone knows another way please inform. Thanks!

When you connect the first time, make sure you establish a 'secure' connection, where you have to enter the same code on the axim, and on the keyboard. After you do this connection should be automatic and only take seconds... as long as your axim has BT running

Thanks SK, I also wanted to thank you for the WiFi/BT script that you endowed upon us as it is very handy.

I tried what you suggested but it still makes me go through enable, scan, and connect in order to use the BT Keyboard.

I think I've got it now, something else to try, if you mistakenly think your keyboard is off because the green power LED has stopped flashing, and you press CTRL - LFT FCTN - RGHT FCTN then you have just reset your connection and will need to go back through and pair the two units again. According to the ? that came with the keyboard install. I guess what you want to do is fold up your keyboard and disable your BT otherwise you are really not saving yourself any time because you will just have to go through the process again.

the Keyboard turns itself off after 3 minutes, to turn it back on, and to reestablish the connection, all you have to do is start typing... (Press any key.. except the Ctrl + Left FN + Right FN)..
