How can I remove a scratch from the LCD Screen?
As I said in this thread; http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=76412, I managed to slightly scratch my x30's screen while removing a Fellows Screen protector. I was wondering what is available to remove scratches. I couldn't find anything on a quick Yahoo search other than this; http://ocwireless.com/OCWireless-Item-DISPLEX.html, but I have no idea how good it is and I do not know whether it would disfigure my screen. So are there any products avaible to remove scratches?

I am sure there is nothing that you can do. There is no film to remove. One thing you could do is put another screen protector on it and prevent any further scratches.

At the very least, I could get a whole new digitizer/glass top from PDAParts: http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...egory_Code=DIG
However, paying $60 to replace a screen with a 3mm scratch is a bit excessive. :rolling:

Try "Lens Drx" as seen on TV scratch repair kit for glasses, it works for me and you can find it in almost any kiosco mall "as seen on TV".

It might, however I am not sure if they could affect the digitizer on the screen. I wouldn't want to remove a very small scratch but then lose the touch screen.

It should have no effect on the digitizer unless it corrodes the top layer. These lense repair fluids just fill in the space of the scratch. Since the digitizer lies under that layer, there would be no damage.

If that's the case, then it sounds like it should work.
Has anyone else here tried something like this on their axim?
