Which case??
Hi I am the proud new owner of a Dell Axim X30 high. I now want to purchase this beauty some protection. I am not sure about leather or hardcase. My other problem is I have normal and extended battery (1800), if I buy a case for an extended battery fit will my Dell still fit snuggly when I have my normal battery in situ.

I couldn't find the exact post, but I believe there was a report on Aximsite that the PDair aluminum case for the X30 (extended Batt) will also work fine with the standard battery too. I suspect this is true for most cases that fit the extended battery.

My PDair works great with either battery.

I bought the aluminum Rhino case (see issues I have had on another post ).

Anyway, it is better than the standard case. The Rhino has an insert to hold 2 additional scan discs.

Treat any case and the Axim with care. Any high end electronic equipment ( you and I have the same one) ain't a tank and is not meant to take incomming.

Get what works best with you, BE CAREFUL, and enjoy your Axim

I picked up an InnoPocket case about 7 months ago. It's been a teriffic little case, and has provided some major protection when I really needed it.

The Case Logic PLT2 Strongman works with either battery. It has the following features:

> zippered case
> adjustable clamping arms to hold PDA
> 1 slot to hold a spare stylus
> a divider to help protect PDA screen
> 3 slots for cards
> 1 large slot for memorys
> 3 large pockets
> 1 pen holder (a bit tight when using extended battery)

I have the Rhino Skin Alluminum Case for my x30H and it has been GREAT! One reason I went with a hard case is b/c I like to throw it in my front pocket, or cargo pocket, and then I don't have to worry about sitting on it or such. I am looking into buying a larger battery though and I don't know what will and will not fit. Any help there??

I've owned many cases from Rhinoskin to Krussel to Piel Frama and Sena. Right now I've settled on a beatuifly Black and red Sena. It's slim, very well made, solid and fits the X30H like a second skin.

I would highly recommend a Sena to anyone looking for a great leather case. It doesn't accommodate an extended battery but you can look around and find one that does.

Hi, I eventually went witht the pdair case. Basiscally because of its extended battery fit. I have not recieved it yet but will keep the forum posted on how I get on.
