This isnt a question just to vent :(

My Axim x30 just arrived yesterday but I havent touched it yet since I wanted the screen protector on first. Good thing is Boxwave's screen protector arrived today (verified with parents over phone). So I'm all excited and waiting to get home to try the x30.

Unfortunately, I should have read the forums more closely before purchasing my 3 pack Boxwave screen protector. Cuz after reading it more today, I'm thinking if I should have gotten the Crystal instead of the Anti-Glare since I use the PPC alot more indoors then outdoors. Wish Boxwave would have given choice option when purchasing 3 packs that way you can have 2 AG and 1 Crystal or the opposite.

All is too late now, even if Boxwave will allow me to exchange I guess I would had to end up paying for shipping back and forth

Lesson Learned: Always search for more info first on Aximsite before purchase!!!

I have one Crystal on the PPC and one brand new left and I hate them. The glare is too much. I had the regular one before and like it. I shouldn't have switched. I used it inside but the many fluorescent make it hard to see most of the time.

When I got onto this site and started researching a good screen protector I went with Brando and haven't looked back. A clear but tough protector. Please note that a lot has to do with appling them properly no matter what the brand.

One question. How were you able to resist playing with your Axim? I would never of been able to do that.

I also bought a 3-pack not long ago but before I made the online purchase I e-mailed Boxwave asking if I could do a mix of 2 & 1 which they quite happily agreed to.

I dunno how much shipping will cost back and forth assuming that they'll exchange it for you, although I am pretty sure they'll be very accommodating, but it may be worth it so that you're happy looking at you Axim all the time.

I used to have the crystal installed, and then I switched it for the anti-glare and I really don't like it quite as much.

I haven't had any problems with my crystals...

I do have a question related to these though, how often should these things be cleaned up as the directions say, and how long should one be used until replaced with a completely fresh protector?

Trust me it was EXTREMELY difficult~~~ But, I'm only resisting because I'm screen protectorless (prior till today). The stupid thing was that I forgot to charge the battery yesterday nite so I could play with it today. So now I gotta wait till tmw before I can play with it. I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD~~~~

doh! forgot to do that too~~~ oh well i guess its my fault cant blame boxwave :)

on a side note, does anyone know of a good stylus that'll fit the axim x30 silo? My bro hates his x30 stylus since he upgraded from his handspring which has a really nice weighty stylus. Although, I must say I'm not too impressed with it either. But since I had a small tiny sony clie stylus before the difference isnt that big a deal with me.
