Hi, I am new to the pocket pc world, and my Dell Axim X30 High is being delivered sometime in the next week. Due to my dad having a digital camera, we have several compact flash cards. I was wondering wether anyone has heard of or knows where you can purchase (in the UK) a secured digital card which enables you to use compact flash with the X30, like an adaptor. I have searched on google, but with no luck if anyone has any idea then I would be grateful. Thanks.

There are CF to SD adapters... But no SD to CF adapters...

I've been looking for something like this FOREVER. My camera uses CF and I want to use my X30 screen to preview shots 'in the field'. I wonder if someone will ever make an SD to CF dongle or something...maybe even an SD to a general Card Reader.

I think He's looking to plug CF into an SD slot. This lets you plug SD into a CF slot....

Just an idea, but:- You could use just SD cards and then use an SD to CF adapter in your camera then just take the SD card out of the adapter when needed.

I wanted a adapter like this aswell! I wan't a microdrive that i can store movies on for my x30, but i can't.....that and some of my other electronics have CF

I haven't seen a digital camera where this is possible. Unlike PDAs that have a slot that's open at the top, digital cameras like to completely enclose the memory card within the camera. If I were to use an adapter with my camera, that would leave the door to the memory card open and dangling.

Thanks guys, seems that my search continues. The thing is, i would like a microdrive, or a 4gb capacity CF card. THerefore using an cf to sd adaptor would be no good. THanks anyway!!!
